iDream Education is looking for someone who becomes the operational backbone of the Founders Office. This is not a passive support role. You will sit at the centre of the organisation — close to every strategic conversation, every key decision, and every important relationship. Your job is to make the founders more effective: by owning follow-throughs they shouldn't have to chase, by walking into meetings with the research already done, by ensuring that what gets decided actually gets delivered.
If you are energised by context-switching, thrive on getting things across the finish line, and want a compressed, high-exposure learning curve inside a mission-driven EdTech organisation — this role is built for you.
- Key Responsibilities & Deliverables
Founder Bandwidth & Follow-Through
- Execution Layer: Be the execution layer behind decisions made by the founders — track action items emerging from meetings, follow up with internal teams on deliverables, and close the loop so the founders don't have to.
- Calendar & Logistics Strategy: Manage the operational logistics around the founders time — travel, scheduling, prioritisation of tasks, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders. Protect their deep-work time without creating bottlenecks.
Meeting & Stakeholder Preparation
- Briefing & Preparation: Ensure the founders walk into every important meeting — whether with a government official, CSR partner, investor, or internal team — fully prepared. Build crisp briefing notes and anticipate questions before they arise.
- External Stakeholder Management: Manage correspondence and follow-through with external stakeholders including government partners, CSR funders, and investors — representing the Founders Office with discretion and polish.
Research & Intelligence
- Quick-Turnaround Research: Own research requests end-to-end — prospect profiling, competitor mapping, sector trends, grant or partnership opportunities. Find the signal in the noise and present it crisply so the founders can make informed decisions fast.
- Synthesis & Analysis: Combine qualitative research with basic quantitative analysis to produce outputs the founders can act on — briefing documents, comparison matrices, market snapshots, or decision memos.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Trusted Connector: Serve as a connector across Content, Product, Growth, Implementation, and Finance — ensuring that founder-led priorities are understood, resourced, and moving. You are not a messenger; you are an owner of outcomes.
- Accountability Rhythm: Own the rhythm of accountability across teams — tracking action items, following up on deliverables, and ensuring nothing that was decided gets lost between meetings.
Special Projects & Strategic Support
- High-Priority Projects: Take on time-bound projects that fall outside any single team's mandate — a new partnership pitch, an organisational planning exercise, an impact report, or a board presentation. Bring structure to ambiguity and deliver without needing hand-holding.
- Confidential Documentation: Handle sensitive information and documentation with absolute discretion; manage expense tracking, vendor coordination, and administrative projects with the same rigour as strategic tasks.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- AI-Augmented Working: Champion continuous experimentation with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent) to improve how the Founders Office operates, how information flows, and how decisions get made faster and better. Use AI as a daily working layer, not an occasional experiment.
- Qualifications & Experience
Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline. A strong track record of managing complexity and delivering outcomes can substitute for a specific degree.
Experience: 2–6 years in a role that required managing complexity, working across functions, and delivering outcomes without always having authority. Backgrounds in consulting, EdTech operations, strategy roles, social sector programme management, or high-growth startups are particularly relevant.
Sector Context: Experience in EdTech, the Development sector, or mission-driven B2B/B2G environments is a strong advantage. Familiarity with how government, NGO, or CSR partnerships work in India will set you apart.
Other Requirements: Based in Gurugram (Sector-32); full-time on-site presence required. Occasional travel to project sites and partner meetings.
- Key Skills & Competencies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication in English — comfortable drafting a briefing note, a founder email, or a slide deck, and knowing which one the moment calls for
- Research and analytical ability — strong instinct for finding, synthesising, and presenting information quickly; comfortable with both qualitative research and basic quantitative analysis
- Organisational rigour — you run on systems; use tools (Notion, Sheets, Slack, or whatever works) to make sure nothing falls through the cracks; the person who remembers what was decided three meetings ago
- Project management — ability to hold multiple workstreams simultaneously, structure ambiguous problems, and drive them to completion without hand-holding
- High discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information
- AI fluency — proficient in using LLMs and AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) as a daily working layer for research, drafting, and synthesis
- A calm, solutions-first temperament — energised by variety, grounded enough to stay reliable when things move fast
- What We're Looking For — Values & Culture Fit
- Integrity: You handle sensitive information without being asked twice. Confidentiality is a default, not a reminder. Working close to leadership is a privilege you treat with full seriousness.
- Impact: You are genuinely excited about the mission — taking the best of digital learning to every corner of rural Bharat. A well-run Founders Office translates directly into a better-run organisation, and a better-run organisation serves learners better.
- Excellence: You read the room, figure out what needs to happen, and make it happen — often before being asked. You notice the briefing note that's a paragraph too long, the scheduling conflict that was avoidable, the follow-up that didn't land.
- Collaboration: You work across functions with ease — knowing when to push, when to wait, and how to get things done through people you don't directly manage. You are comfortable with ambiguity and grounded enough to stay reliable when things move fast.
- Joy: You bring lightness to a demanding role. High standards don't mean high stress — you hold both together, and that makes the people around you better.
- Why Join Us
This role offers one of the most compressed and high-exposure learning environments available in the Indian EdTech and social impact space. You will sit inside the decision-making core of a growing, purpose-driven organisation, work directly with its founders, and see — and contribute to — everything that matters.
What you do with that exposure is up to you — this role has a natural growth path into broader Chief of Staff or operations leadership responsibilities as you build context and trust with the founders.
