Job Description

About CynLr

Just like a baby's brain, CynLr Visual Intelligence stack makes Robots to instinctively see & pick any object under any ambience, without any training. (a demo video link).

Today, a robot that can fit a screw into a nut without slipping a thread, doesn't exist. Imagine what it would take for a robot to assemble a Smartphone or a car by putting together 1000s of parts with varied shapes and weights, all in random orientations. Thus, factories become complex, needing heavy customization of their environment.

CynLr-enabled visual robots intuitively learn to handle even unknown objects, on-the-fly, eliminating the need for rigid fixtures, pre-training, or environment customization. This enables an universal alternative to custom automation thus simplifying factory lines into modular LEGO-like micro-factories that can be rapidly reconfigured as products change.

At the core of CynLr lies a fundamentally new approach to machine vision. Unlike conventional vision systems that rely on image recognition and heuristics, CynLr s Vision and ML stacks are deeply inspired by neuroscience, modelling how biological vision understands shape, geometry, and interaction rather than appearance alone. To support this, CynLr builds its hardware, sensors, compute pipelines, and learning stacks from scratch, tightly coupling perception, decision-making, and action.

This integration allows CynLr to operate in conditions that defeat traditional automation: variable lighting, cluttered environments, unknown objects, and high precision manipulation, unlocking automation use cases that have remained unsolved for decades. By rethinking vision as an intelligent, adaptive sense rather than a static tool, CynLr is redefining how robots perceive, reason, and interact with the physical world.

About the Role

As an Executive Assistant (EA) in the Founder's Office, you will act as a force multiplier for the founder(s). Your role is not administrative support alone, but context management, priority orchestration, and execution enablement. You ensure that attention, time, and decisions are directed to the highest-leverage outcomes, while shielding the founder from avoidable noise and inefficiencies.

This role requires judgment, discretion, anticipation, and ownership and not just task execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary coordination layer between the founder(s) and internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR) as well as external stakeholders (investors, partners, vendors).
  • Own calendar management, ensuring meetings are outcome-driven, well-prioritized, and realistically scheduled.
  • Support communication flow - drafting, tracking, and closing loops on emails, follow-ups, and action items.
  • Assist in travel planning and coordination across geographies, time zones, and stakeholders, including agendas, buffers, and recovery windows.
  • Track key priorities, decisions, and follow-ups, ensuring nothing critical drops due to context switching.
  • Support preparation for reviews, meetings, and discussions (internal and external) by organizing material, notes, and context.
  • Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and trust in handling sensitive information.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in workflows and suggest improvements to reduce friction for the founder(s).

Team Structure

The Executive Assistant operates within the Founder's Office, which acts as a connective layer across the organization.

While the EA works closely with the founder(s), the role interfaces continuously with:

  • Engineering leadership
  • Operations and Supply Chain
  • Finance and Compliance
  • HR and Talent
  • External stakeholders (investors, advisors, partners)

The Executive Assistant owns execution within their scope while acting as a contextcarrier across functions thus ensuring alignment without becoming a bottleneck.

What Will You Need to Do This Role Well

  • Strong ability to understand context quickly and prioritize based urgency and importance.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environments without predefined SOPs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: clear, concise, and outcome focused.
  • High level of empathy and emotional intelligence, especially in managing founder bandwidth.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing calendars, priorities, and follow-ups at scale.
  • Judgment to know when to act independently vs when to escalate.
  • Ability to anticipate needs rather than wait for instructions.

Experience That Will Accelerate You

  • Experience supporting senior leaders or founders in fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to startups, scale-ups, or founder-led organizations.
  • Experience handling multiple stakeholders across functions and time zones.
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365, calendars, task trackers, and documentation systems.
  • Experience in roles requiring discretion, trust, and handling sensitive information.

What Will You Do

You will enable the founder(s) to focus on the highest-impact work by taking ownership of coordination, prioritization, and execution hygiene.

You will:

  • Filter noise from signal.
  • Convert open-ended discussions into clear next steps.
  • Ensure time is spent on decisions, not logistics.
  • Act as an early warning system when priorities clash, timelines slip, or communication breaks.

You are not expected to do everything, but you are expected to own what you touch end-to-end.

How will you do it

This role is inherently non-linear and non-templated.

You will operate by:

  • Continuously building context about CynLr's people, priorities, and workflows.
  • Asking the right clarifying questions before acting.
  • Designing your own systems for tracking, reminders, and follow-ups.
  • Balancing structure with flexibility - knowing when discipline matters and when adaptability is required.
  • Learning quickly from feedback and adjusting your approach.

Success in this role comes from judgment, trust, and proactive ownership, not from rigid adherence to process.
