Job Description

The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and strategic support to ensure the efficient functioning of the MD's office. The role acts as a bridge between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and driving execution of key initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage MD's daily schedule, meetings, and appointments
  • Prioritize engagements based on business needs
  • Coordinate travel plans, itineraries, and logistics
  • Handle emails, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the MD
  • Draft professional emails, reports, and presentations
  • Act as a point of contact between MD and stakeholders
  • Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting documents
  • Record minutes of meetings (MoM)
  • Track action items and ensure timely follow-ups
  • Assist in strategic planning and execution of business initiatives
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports
  • Support decision-making with relevant insights
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners
  • Ensure smooth communication across departments
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Maintain records, documents, and filing systems
  • Manage expense reports and approvals
  • Support event planning and executive visits

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA is an added advantage)
  • 3–8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role
  • Experience working with senior leadership
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Time management and attention to detail
