The Executive Assistant to the Managing Director provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and strategic support to ensure the efficient functioning of the MD's office. The role acts as a bridge between the MD and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality and driving execution of key initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage MD's daily schedule, meetings, and appointments
- Prioritize engagements based on business needs
- Coordinate travel plans, itineraries, and logistics
- Handle emails, calls, and correspondence on behalf of the MD
- Draft professional emails, reports, and presentations
- Act as a point of contact between MD and stakeholders
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and meeting documents
- Record minutes of meetings (MoM)
- Track action items and ensure timely follow-ups
- Assist in strategic planning and execution of business initiatives
- Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports
- Support decision-making with relevant insights
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, vendors, and partners
- Ensure smooth communication across departments
- Handle sensitive and confidential information
- Maintain records, documents, and filing systems
- Manage expense reports and approvals
- Support event planning and executive visits
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA is an added advantage)
- 3–8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role
- Experience working with senior leadership
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Time management and attention to detail
