Shipment arrangement , Customs clearance and delivery of shipments within time.
1.To Coordinate with Internal and External Agencies for smooth functioning
of activities related to Export & Import clearance.
- Import and export management. Liaise with shipping agent company and
freight forwarder/carrier for all import/export items.
- Classify the products by HS code, coordinate information and documentation
where required for timely and accurate Customs clearance in line with Indian
Customs requirements.
- Maintaining on customs mandatory compliances such as approving
checklist, facilitating custom duty payment, responding to custom query
for all Export and Import shipments.
- Coordination with Carriers & custom clearance agent for clearance
activity from port & tracking KPI to measure performance.
6.Co-ordinate with the technical Department to resolve the technical
queries/issues raised by customs authorities.
On-time documents filling

MIS Reports
- MIS for import & clearance to review vendors performance
- Maintaining the records of HS classifications, including its justification.
- Conduct audit on the carried-out HS classifications, and to suggest
corrective action and training, if required.
- Maintaining all the necessary record like Custom orders, Custom orders,
bill of entry & shipping bill to support audit requirement.

- Responsible for maintaining import classification and tariff database

2.Review & Updating of Import Related Notification/Changes In Customs/DGFT
2.Training/Awareness Session to Exim Team/Company's Stake Holders Timely
Payment to customs of availed deferred duty payment scheme.
- Capex Installation & submission, EODC Tracking and Bond cancellation of
EPCG/ Licenses.
- SVB compliance-Related supplier addition and closer.
- Infuse in the teams, the ability to work effectively with cross-
functional technical teams
- Oversight and support of internal and external audits.

- Import Duty benefit through FTA.
- Timely clearance of shipment to avoid late filling and detention charges
- Timely Payment to customs fortnightly to keep deferred duty payment
scheme available.

- Effective Negotiation and cost down approach to meet the desired cost
targets to undertake import logistics cost and Negotiate with freight

- Sound knowledge in Import, Export and customs operation.

Minimum Requirements
Education Qualification & Relevant Experience
Qualification
- The candidate must have 3-12 Years working experience with large scale of Industries which are compulsorily in EXOPT / IMPORT.
- Bachelor's degree,+ MBA in Supply Chain Management or related field or relevant certification is Preferred.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational
skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
