Job Description
- To lead, manage and control the financial accounting, management accounting and statutory audit areas in accordance with the company's objectives & policy guidelines, generally accepted accounting principles of India, group policy and standards.
- To optimize and enhance capabilities, as and when required, of the financial module of the ERP and the related financial aspects affecting other modules
- Ensure that the Cost Records are maintained as per the Cost Audit Rules and get the records audited from time to time
- To continuously strive for process simplification and improvement in all accounting and finance processes and ensure the internal audit improvements recommendations are implemented
- Coordinate between all functions and lead the accounting team to ensure delivery of monthly reporting in accordance with quality and time performance requirements.
- Responsible for statutory auditors to ensure seamless audit of accounts
- To ensure compliance requirements of Excise Law, Service Tax Law, Income Tax Law, VAT & CST Laws.
- Liasoning with Bank, RBI, DGFT & other related agencies.
- Risk Management Knowledge of Insurance related laws, & to ensure all the company's assets are well insured
- Keeping self-update with the current pronouncements, updates & amendments in laws relevant to the company functions
- On time payment of all suppliers/vendors
- Follow up for outstanding from customers
Required Skills
- Sound working level knowledge of ERP module
- Preferably cross functional modules
- Good knowledge of Taxation
- Good accounting, analytical, presentation & communication skill
Educational Qualification
MCOM/MBA from reputed university
Work Experience
2 5 years in manufacturing industry preferable with excel.
