Job Title: Excel Specialist / Data Analyst (Freelancer)

Role Overview
As an Advanced Excel Specialist, you will be responsible for building operational workflows, dashboards, financial models, reporting systems, and automation tools using Excel, Power Query, and VBA.
This role is crucial in helping the company set up scalable processes before we transition them into SaaS products.
You will work closely with the founder, product team, and operations team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build Internal Operations & Reporting Systems
- Create automated dashboards for recruitment, staffing, BGV, and supply chain workflows.
- Develop trackers, MIS reports, and performance monitoring tools.
- Build Excel-based mini-tools to support day-to-day operations.
2. Process Automation
- Use Macros, VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot to automate repetitive tasks.
- Automate data cleaning, report generation, format conversions, and workflow steps.
3. Data Analysis & Insights
- Analyze business data to provide insights on:
- Lead conversion
- Client pipeline
- Hiring funnel
- Revenue forecasts
- Operational efficiency
- Prepare management-level reports for strategic decision-making.
4. Product & Workflow Prototyping
- Create Excel-based prototypes for SaaS product workflow.
- Simulate features of Job Portal, SCM, and BGV system.
- Prepare mock dashboards, datasets, and logic flows for developers.
5. Financial Modelling & Investor Documents
- Build financial projections, unit economics, CAC/LTV models.
- Prepare cash burn, cost forecasting, and revenue modeling sheets.
- Support pitch deck financial sections.
6. Operations & Business Support
- Build compliance trackers, documentation logs, onboarding workflows.
- Support day-to-day operations with data organization and automation.
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of business data.
Required Skills
Advanced Excel Expertise
- Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot
- VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, ARRAY formulas
- Dashboard creation
- Scenario analysis, What-if models
- Excel automation (Macros, VBA preferred)
Technical/Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of data structure and business workflow
- Experience in MIS, financial modeling, or operational analysis
- Ability to build end-to-end reporting systems
- Good understanding of SaaS/IT business metrics (bonus)
Soft Skills
