Role Overview
We are seeking dynamic and result-driven professionals for our Business Development team, responsible for driving delegate sales, event partnerships, and sponsorship revenue** across healthcare conferences, summits, and forums.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
* Develop and execute sales strategies for delegate acquisition, sponsorships, and partnerships.
* Identify target audiences across healthcare, pharma, corporates, startups, and government bodies.
* Build a strong sales pipeline and forecast revenue targets for each event.
2. Delegate & Event Sales
* Drive delegate registrations through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
* Promote conferences, roundtables, and summits to relevant industry professionals.
* Maintain consistent follow-ups to close sales and achieve targets.
3. Sponsorship & Partnership Sales
* Identify potential sponsors and partners aligned with healthcare and pharma sectors.
* Pitch event concepts, sponsorship packages, and branding opportunities.
* Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.
4. Revenue Generation
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and event-wise revenue targets.
* Upsell and cross-sell sponsorship opportunities across multiple events.
* Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and client servicing.
5. Market Research & Insights
* Conduct research on industry trends, competitor events, and potential clients.
* Identify new business opportunities and emerging sectors within healthcare.
* Provide insights to enhance event positioning and sales strategy.
6. Client Relationship Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, sponsors, and delegates.
* Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business.
* Act as a key point of contact throughout the sales and event lifecycle.
7. Collaboration & Coordination
* Work closely with the content, marketing, and operations teams for successful event execution.
* Share feedback from clients to improve event offerings and experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in event sales, delegate sales, sponsorship sales, or B2B sales.
* Experience in **healthcare, pharma, or conference industry** preferred.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and LinkedIn outreach.
