Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for a marketing professional for our event marketing team. The Event Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in planning and executing marketing-sponsored and sales-initiated events. This role supports the full event lifecycle, from strategy and logistics to design, communications, on-site support, and post-event analysis, while ensuring brand consistency, stakeholder engagement, and measurable impact across global initiatives.
Responsibilities
Event Planning and Execution
- Organize and execute events including tradeshows, webinars, informative sessions, roundtables, and client engagements.
- Coordinate logistics with vendors, sponsors, internal stakeholders, and venue staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Manage event message maps, attendee lists, booth deliverables, and develop all event communications (internally and externally).
Marketing Integration
- Collaborate with initiative marketers and regional teams to align event messaging with broader marketing goals.
- Create Salesforce campaigns and manage event-related assets on platforms like Highspot and Pardot.
Content and Communications
- Assist in creating promotional materials, registration pages, email templates, social media messaging, event videos, and event collateral.
- Support pre-event and post-event communications, including surveys, email communications, blog posts, and lead follow-up.
- Assist in editing content to post to the website, helping to identify content to be updated, and routing website inquiries to the appropriate teams.
Budget and Competitive Analysis
- Manage individual event budgets, including vendor onboarding and invoice submissions.
- Track ROI and prepare post-event summaries for stakeholder review.
- Participate in the annual event budget decision-making process.
- Manage event competitive analysis and business analytics.
Technology and Tools
- Utilize CRM (e.g., Salesforce), sales enablement (Highspot), and email marketing (e.g., Pardot) platforms.
- Leverage social media and digital tools to enhance event visibility and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or communications.
- 2-5 years of experience in event coordination and marketing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools Pardot experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of HTML and email software.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and excellent project management skills.
- Ability to work remotely with a team, communicating effectively, and managing time to meet deadlines.
- Solid work ethic, integrity, and reliability.
