Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for an Event Manager at Tisser. The Event Manager will plan, organize, and execute events to showcase Tisser's products and promote the brand's vision and mission. Responsibilities include budgeting, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, managing logistics, and ensuring events run smoothly. The role also involves engaging with artisans and customers, crafting unique event experiences that highlight artisanal products and cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and manage exhibitions, pop-ups, craft fairs, workshops, and artisan markets

Coordinate with artisans for participation, products, stall requirements, and timelines

Liaise with venues, exhibition organizers, and partners for smooth event execution

Oversee on-ground setup and coordination during events

Handle post-event activities after exhibitions, pop-ups, workshops, and artisan markets

Coordinate with artisans and internal teams to collect event-related information

Compile event data including artisan participation, product categories, sales overview, and footfall details

Qualifications

  • Event Planning, Coordination, and Logistics Management skills
  • Vendor Management, Budgeting, and Negotiation skills
  • Strong Networking and Communication skills
  • Experience in Marketing, Promotion, and Brand Strategy
  • Attention to Detail and Creative Thinking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Event Management, Communications, or a related field
  • Prior experience in the craft or artisan industry is an advantage
