Job Title: Event Manager University Events

Job Summary:
The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing university events, including case competitions, conclaves, guest lectures, workshops, cultural festivals, and other academic and co-curricular activities. The individual will collaborate with various departments, ensure smooth execution of events, and uphold the university's reputation by delivering high-quality experiences for students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
The Event Manager will be responsible for end-to-end planning and execution of university events, including:
- Plan and execute university-wide, DSW, ELC, cultural, academic, and promotional events.
- Coordinate with all schools, clubs, and societies for event planning and execution.
- Organize one mega inter-school university event annually.
- Prepare and manage the annual university event calendar.
- Organize and coordinate workshops, seminars, and guest lectures under various schools.
- Ensure complete coverage of activities conducted by clubs and societies under DSW.
- Provide event-related content to the Social Media and Branding teams for promotions and post-event visibility.
- Coordinate celebrity engagements, movie promotions, sponsorships, and large-scale events.
- Plan and execute Induction and Fresher's Programs, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for students.
- Organize cultural festivals, inter- and intra-university competitions, and talent showcases.
- Plan and execute sports events in coordination with sports committees, coaches, and external agencies.
- Design and conduct skill development and grooming workshops with industry professionals.
- Coordinate Farewell and Convocation ceremonies, ensuring protocol adherence and smooth execution.
- Manage vendor coordination, logistics, on-ground execution, and post-event documentation.
- Ensure compliance with branding guidelines, safety norms, and institutional policies for all events.
Key Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in event management, preferably in an educational institutionor corporate environment.
- Experience in organizing academic and co-curricular activities like case competitions or professional conclaves.
Skills:
