THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a seasoned media and events professional with deep roots in India's BFSI ecosystem to own and drive Signzy's events strategy end-to-end. This is a rare role that blends editorial credibility, relationship capital, and event execution — designed for someone who has spent years building networks inside financial services boardrooms through platforms like the Global Fintech Fest (GFF), Banking & Financial Services summits, and exclusive industry round tables. You will be the face of Signzy at high-value industry forums, forge partnerships with key influencers and decision-makers across banks, NBFCs, and regulators, and convert those connections directly into qualified business opportunities for our sales pipeline.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Strategy & Ownership
▸ Own the annual events calendar for Signzy — from global flagship events (GFF, FIBAC, IBA) to curated round tables and proprietary Signzy-led forums.
▸ Define event objectives aligned to pipeline targets, brand positioning, and partnership goals; report on ROI for every event.
▸ Lead pre-event, on-ground, and post-event execution flawlessly — including speaker acquisition, agenda curation, logistics, AV, collateral, and follow-up.
BFSI Network Development & Lead Generation
▸ Leverage your existing relationships with C-suite and senior leaders across banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, fintechs, and regulators to position Signzy at premium industry forums.
▸ Identify, approach, and secure partnerships with industry bodies, associations (IBA, ASSOCHAM,
FICCI, NASSCOM FutureSkills), and media houses for joint event co-creation.
▸ Convert event engagements into warm introductions and qualified sales leads in close collaboration with the Business Development and Sales teams.
Media Relations & Thought Leadership
▸ Draw on your media network (ET, Business Standard, Mint, Financial Express, CNBC-TV18, Bloomberg Quint, etc.) to secure editorial coverage, sponsored content, and speaking opportunities for Signzy leaders.
▸ Work with internal content and communications teams to develop compelling narratives — whitepapers, panel topics, bylines — that reinforce Signzy's thought leadership in RegTech and digital compliance.
▸ Represent Signzy as a credible, articulate spokesperson at press interactions, media briefings, and on-stage discussions.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
▸ Manage relationships with event organizers, PR agencies, AV vendors, exhibition vendors, and media partners end-to-end.
▸ Coordinate internally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and the C-suite to align messaging and maximise the business impact of every event appearance.
▸ Maintain a structured CRM of all event contacts, leads generated, follow-up actions, and conversion metrics.
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-Have Experience
▸ 8+ years in media, events, or communications with a strong BFSI orientation — from a leading
publication (ET, Business Standard, Mint, HT Media, CNBC-TV18, Bloomberg), a BFSI-focused events company, or a financial services communications practice.
▸ Established, warm relationships with senior BFSI professionals — CMOs, CDOs, CROs, Heads of
Digital, compliance leaders — at banks, NBFCs, and insurance majors.
▸ Proven track record of planning and executing large-scale B2B events and roundtables that generated measurable business outcomes.
▸ Experience working directly with or alongside editorial teams at mainstream financial media; your
rolodex should include journalists, editors, and bureau chiefs. Skills & Competencies.
▸ Outstanding verbal and written communication in English and Hindi; compelling on-stage and in
one-on-one executive settings.
▸ Sharp commercial instinct — you understand pipeline, conversion, and what it means to move a
relationship from networking to revenue.
▸ High-energy self-starter who thrives without a large support team; comfortable owning outcomes
end-to-end.
▸ Strong organisational and project management skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent events across the calendar year.
▸ Familiarity with RegTech, fintech, or digital banking trends is a strong plus — intellectual curiosity about the space is essential.

▸ 50+ qualified BFSI leads generated directly through events, with measurable pipeline attribution.
▸ Signzy leadership featured in 10+ high-quality editorial pieces and speaking slots at marquee industry forums.
▸ A robust, maintained network map of 200+ BFSI decision-makers engaged through Signzy events.
▸ A repeatable, scalable annual events playbook delivered — on time and within budget.
