We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in event planning and will be responsible for organizing and executing a variety of events, ensuring each one is a success.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute events from inception to completion, ensuring they run smoothly and meet client expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure services and manage logistics.
- Develop event budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Create timelines and schedules for event preparation and execution.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for event themes, formats, and activities.
- Handle all aspects of event marketing and promotion to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and assess event success.
Skills and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to overcome challenges during event execution.
- Knowledge of budget management and cost control practices.
