Position Title: EV System Validation and Testing
Reports to: Lead
Function: EV Technical
Required Mandatory Skillset:
Exp: Minimum 3-8 Years of experience in System and Sub system Testing and Validation
Qualification: BTech / BE / Mechanical/ EEE/ECE/Production/Automobile engineering
What we need:
- 4 Plus years of hands-on experience in EV /Battery, sub system electrical / electronic and system level validation for OEMs, tier-1 automotive suppliers.
- Charger, Motor controller, EVSE /RCD / PRCD validation
- >> HIL testing capability will be additional skill which is not mandatory
- Expertise in Electrical Vehicle Battery manufacturing / quality function /Design development
- Experience in CAN Vector tools, PCAN, LIN, Can analyser etc.
- Experience on developing Design Verification and Validation Plan.
- Understanding design and develop the test cases
- Functional safety verification
- Experience or capability in HIL testing is addon advantage
- Expertise in Battery Pack diagnostics and analysis systems
- Expertise in DFMEA / 8D problem solving methodology, Understanding of vehicle level and subsystem level architecture design and validating the performance
- Calibration and validation of subsystem in vehicle level, power consumption, torque demand regen tuning and verifying the MCU / Motor
- Simulation of CAN message as per subcomponents to test the sub system as part of validation
- Expertise on using high end equipment like DSO, Programmable AC/DC sources etc.
What you'll do:
The incumbent will contribute in validation of system level and subsystem electrical & electronics hardware parts, HIL testing along with HIL test team as part of sub system validation, preparation of validation report with detailed analysis and compliance as per DVP and international standards requirements.
- To validate Battery pack and other sub system electrical and electronics parts as per requirements
- Validate the subsystem and system as per DVP
- Understand standards and validate as per standards requirements
- Development of test procedure as per standards and functional requirements of DVP test cases
- Ensure the safety requirements followed in testing
- Lab equipments handling and ensure equipments are maintained properly
- Conduct the validation tests at external test labs as part of Validation
- Samples maintenance with identification
- Test & validation and analyse the data, prepare test report with detailed analysis
- 8D analysis on failures and working with CFT on failure analysis
- Ensuring the tests completion as per DVP plan
- Software validation of subsystem parts along with HIL test team and preparing detailed test report
- Reliability assessment from validation and endurance test observations
- Homologation certification process as per requirements for subsystem level
