Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating projects related to EV workbench design, testing, manufacturing, and integration. The role requires strong expertise in Electrical and Electronics (Embedded Systems), Data Analysis, Networking, and VCU/Software integration. The candidate will ensure smooth project execution, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery of high-quality EV products, including test benches, powertrain systems, and subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and milestones in alignment with ISIEINDIAs EV roadmap.
- Coordinate design, manufacturing, and testing of EV workbenches and subsystems.
Innovation & Development
- Lead design, development, and validation of battery packs, BMS, motors, controllers, chargers, and other EV components.
- Drive embedded systems and VCU software integration for product readiness.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for test failures and implement corrective/preventive measures.
Monitoring & Compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation (production reports, design approvals, dispatch records).
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, labor compliance, and industry standards.
- Track performance metrics and prepare outcome-based monthly reports.
Operational Support
- Oversee waste management and resource optimization, ensuring quarterly scrap disposal cycles.
- Represent ISIEINDIA in industry networking events and support technical skill upgradation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience: 24 years of experience in project coordination, EV R&D, or manufacturing.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong in Electrical systems, Embedded Electronics, and Networking.
- Experience with VCU software integration and data analysis.
- Knowledge of powertrain design and testing.
- Technical Electrical & Electronics Fundamentals: Strong grasp of circuits, signal flow, and motor drive basics.
- Microcontrollers & Controllers: Hands-on with embedded systems, MCU programming, PWM control, inverter logic.
- Channel Protocols: Expertise in UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN for EV applications.
- Motor & Battery Integration: End-to-end understanding of motor-control loops, torque-speed characteristics, and battery interfacing.
- Semiconductors: Knowledge of power electronics (MOSFET, IGBT, SiC/GaN devices) for motor drives and chargers.
