Woltz Energy is a commercial electric vehicle startup specializing in sustainable last-mile delivery solutions. We are building electric cargo two-wheelers, designed to help last-mile businesses and gig-economy riders reduce their costs of last-mile delivery through rental fleets and making EV's more accessible for them.
Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on Fleet Operations Manager who will act as our on-ground point of contact for fleet operations, rider partners, and delivery companies. This role combines field sales, relationship management, and fleet execution.
You will be responsible for fleet uptime, deployment, service scheduling, and building strong working relationships with rider managers and delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Ground Sales & Business Development
- Build and manage relationships with rider managers, fleet supervisors, and delivery company POCs
- Visit delivery hubs, warehouses, and client sites regularly
- Support live demos, pilots, and on-field pitches with prospective B2B clients
- Act as company representative during site visits, problem-solving, and escalation handling
- Convert on-ground interest into active fleet deployment
2. Relationship Management
- Be the primary on-ground POC for delivery companies and fleet partners
- Maintain strong day-to-day relationships with rider managers and supervisors
- Handle operational issues proactively to maintain trust and long-term partnerships
- Coordinate with client teams to ensure smooth onboarding and operations
3. Fleet Uptime & Deployment Management
- Own fleet uptime and availability
- Plan and execute deployment and redeployment of bikes based on demand
- Reduce idle fleet and improve utilisation
- Track active vs inactive bikes and take corrective action
- Ensure bikes are ready for deployment at all times
4. Service Scheduling & Operations
- Plan and manage service and maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with technicians for breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and AMC servicing
- Prioritise repairs based on fleet impact and uptime requirements
- Visit sites with technicians when required for faster issue resolution
- Ensure minimal downtime through effective service planning
This role requires ownership, field presence, and execution.

- Basic technical understanding of EVs (training will be provided).
Key Skills & Requirements
- 3–6 years experience in fleet operations, last-mile delivery, logistics, or mobility
- Strong on-ground execution and people-handling skills
- Comfortable working in field conditions and visiting sites daily
- Ability to manage technicians, riders, and external partners
- Basic understanding of vehicle service and maintenance (EV experience preferred)
- Confident communicator who can represent the company independently
- Problem-solver who takes ownership, not excuses
