Founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (with backgrounds at Tesla and Wipro), Raptee Energy aims to revolutionize the EV market by offering a high-performance motorcycle alternative to the existing scooter-dominated options. The company is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented EV Assembly Associate to join our plant operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly of Vehicles, Battery Electrical & Electronics, and ensuring adherence to 5S principles for workplace organization and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Perform assembly tasks for vehicle components, battery electrical systems, and electronic modules as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure the proper handling, installation, and connection of electrical and electronic components.
- Maintain high-quality assembly standards and conduct basic quality checks to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Implement and sustain 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) practices to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor equipment and tools, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety within the plant.
Who Can Apply
- ITI, Diploma or equivalent; technical certification in automotive, electrical, or mechanical fields is preferred.
- Proven experience in assembly operations, preferably in automotive or electronics manufacturing.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, including wiring and circuitry.
- Strong understanding of 5S principles and lean manufacturing practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Good manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
