ETL Testing Professional

Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience in ETL, shell or Python scripting, data modeling, analysis, and preparation.
• Build new end-to-end business intelligence solutions including data extraction, ETL processes to derive business insights, and visualizing data through dashboards.
• Understand business requirements and provide inputs from a data perspective.
• Comprehend the underlying data and data flow.
• Build simple to complex pipelines and dataflows.
• Implement modules with security and authorization frameworks.
• Adapt to evolving processes as the project scales in size and function.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proficient in SQL Programming and ETL (Required).
• Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory.
• Advanced knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, T-SQL, and Logic Apps.
• Strong analytical skills to understand complex data.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake and Azure services like Analysis Service, SQL Databases, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of master data management, data warehousing, and business intelligence architecture.
• Expertise in data modeling and database design with excellent knowledge of SQL Server best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) with ability to communicate clearly at various organizational levels.
• Clear understanding of Data Warehouse (DW) lifecycle, including preparing design documents, unit test plans, and code review reports.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark Framework, NoSQL, Azure Databricks, and the Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, HDFS, YARN, Pig, Oozie) is a plus.
