We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer with 5+ years of experience in manual testing and strong exposure to data platforms, especially Azure Databricks.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test management tools like JIRA and HP ALM, and be capable of working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for data and application systems
Perform manual testing for data pipelines, ETL processes, and reporting systems
Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in Azure Databricks environments
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirementsIdentify, log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and HP ALM
Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in DB Testing Strong understanding of data testing concepts (ETL, data validation, data quality checks)
Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks
Experience working with JIRA and HP ALM for test and defect management
Good understanding of SQL and database testing
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, etc.)
Basic knowledge of automation testing tools
Experience in cloud-based data platformsNice to HaveExperience in Pharma / Life Sciences domain
