Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled ETL Test Automation Engineer with strong experience in Data Warehousing (DWH) and ETL testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in test automation using Python, strong SQL skills, and experience validating complex data transformations across large-scale data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to validate data movement, transformation, and integrity across systems
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts for ETL testing (Python preferred)
• Perform data validation and reconciliation using complex SQL queries
• Validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rules across multiple data sources
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to ensure end-to-end test coverage
• Identify, log, and track defects to closure, ensuring high data quality standards
• Document test execution results and prepare test reports and insights
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across pipelines

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ETL Testing and Data Warehousing (DWH)
• Hands-on experience in test automation (Python preferred)
• Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations, data validation)
• Experience validating data pipelines, transformations, and integrations
• Good understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and data integrity checks
• Familiarity with ETL tools (Databricks preferred)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
