Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Teradata/EDW Developer with strong ETL expertise using
Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate should possess solid SQL skills, hands-on experience working with complex queries, and good understanding of UNIX shell scripting. Experience in the
Banking domain is an added advantage.
Required Experience
- 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in Data Warehousing/EDW
- Strong hands-on experience in Teradata
- Strong experience in Informatica PowerCenter / ETL Development
- Solid understanding of SQL concepts with the ability to write and optimize complex queries
- Good to have exposure to UNIX shell scripting
- Banking domain experience is desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter
- Work extensively with Teradata for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries
- Support data warehouse (EDW) operations and enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, analysis, and solution design
- Perform data validation, quality checks, and debugging
- Contribute to performance tuning of ETL jobs and database queries
- Work with UNIX shell commands for automation and job handling (good to have)
- Support UAT, production deployments, and issue resolution
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical details
Good To Have Skills
- UNIX shell scripting knowledge
- Exposure to Banking or Financial Services domain
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledge of data quality and metadata management tools
