Our customer is seeking a ETL Developer to help them optimize and analyze their current ETL system.
Responsibilities
- Translate business and functional specifications into data models, ETL mapping sheets, and technical artefacts.
- Analyze the existing ETL workflows, mappings, and data integration logic for Reconciliation
- related data.
- Identify design flaws, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in current ETL pipelines.
- Validate business rules, transformation logic, and data flow alignment with requirements.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and exception-handling frameworks.
- Ensure front-to-back data consistency across trade, market data, static data, risk, and P&L domains.
- Support end-to-end data integrity checks during SIT/UAT cycles.
- Work closely with Finance, Treasury and TLM teams to collect requirements.
- Participate in impact assessment sessions.
- Develop analytical reports for business teams, highlighting trends, issues, and root-cause analyses.
Mandatory skills
- 4-8 years of experience, and proficiency in Informatica Power center & SQL .
- Good understanding of ETL architecture, performance tuning, error handling, and dependency management.
- Strong skills in data analysis, data cleansing, reconciliation, and front-to-back validation.
- Expertise in tuning ETL workflows, SQL queries, and parallel processing.
- Knowledge of batch scheduling & dependency optimization.
- Ability to translate business requirements into ETL and data specifications.
- Experience with reconciliation and defect resolution.

- Understanding of capital markets, derivatives, and risk concepts
