Description
We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of ETL processes and data integration solutions that meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, data warehousing, and data management, with excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams of ETL developers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of ETL processes and data integration solutions that meet business requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using industry-standard tools and best practices
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Develop and implement data quality controls, including monitoring and remediation processes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior ETL developers
- Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure the availability, reliability, and scalability of ETL solutions
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in ETL development and data management
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, and data management
- Expertise in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or SSIS
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Experience with data modeling and schema design
- Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery
- Experience with data integration technologies such as Kafka, Spark, or Flink
- Excellent leadership skills and experience managing teams of ETL developers
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and debug ETL workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
