ETL Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Pentaho Developer to join one of our largest financial service clients and sit remotely in India. This candidate will be joining the Technology Services Group to help enhance their Data Collector Framework. This developer will be responsible for running with the entire ETL process and be familiar with industry standard data warehousing techniques and processing patterns. They must also be proficient with Pentaho Data Integration client (PDI) from it's enterprise edition features to developing metadata injection scripts, handling error techniques, and data cleaning and validation rules in PDI. To be successful with that they should be proficient in working with various sources and integrations such as DBMS, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Bigdata interfaces, and Salesforce connectors. This position is a great opportunity to work in fast paced growing environment for one of our banking clients. The role can sit fully remote.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of development experience - Excellent Pentaho experience - Ability to write SQL queries and run with entire ETL process - Proficient with Oracle with advanced knowledge of SQL - Gitlab experience - Strong Splunk experience for leveraging Splunk integrations

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working with kettle or spoon - Strong java development experience
