ETL developer

We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient ETL processes for our leading client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data integration, data modeling, and performance tuning, ensuring high-quality and reliable data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ETL Process Design and Development

• Design, develop, and implement scalable ETL processes using industry-standard tools.
• Analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions.
• Optimize ETL workflows to enhance performance and reduce processing time.

2. Data Quality Assurance

• Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and cleansing techniques.
• Monitor data pipelines and proactively address data quality issues.

3. Data Modeling and Integration

• Design and develop data models aligned with business requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Integrate data from diverse sources, including databases, flat files, and APIs.

4. Performance Tuning

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL processes.
• Optimize database queries and ETL scripts for improved system performance.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
• Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage).
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
