Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer with deep expertise in
IBM Infosphere DataStage and
Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D). The role involves managing high-volume data integration projects, particularly transitioning or integrating on-premises ETL workloads with
Google Big Query. The candidate will lead the development of complex interfaces across Collections and Finance, Accounting & Tax portfolios, ensuring enterprise-grade data integrity and compliance.
Key Deliverables:
- Design and develop DataStage parallel jobs and sequences to ingest and transform financial data into core platforms.
- Architect and optimize ETL pipelines within CP4D to manage 100+ jobs and 50+ tables supporting core systems.
- Implement complex transformation logic to ensure outbound files meet Metro2 compliance for all Credit Bureaus.
- Perform performance tuning of ETL jobs to meet high-volume batch processing requirements within defined nightly windows.
- Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for advanced file handling, pre/post-job processing, and automated alerting.
- Ensure all data movements adhere to enterprise-grade security requirements, including PGP encryption routines within DataStage.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for ETL designs, mapping documents, and recovery procedures to ensure operational stability.
Required Skills
- ETL Tools: IBM Infosphere DataStage v11.x, Cloud Pak for Data (CP4D).
- Cloud Platform: Google Big Query (BQ), Google Cloud Storage.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Big Query SQL.
- Scripting/OS: Unix/Linux Shell Scripting, Python.
- Compliance/Security: Metro2 reporting formats, PGP Encryption, secure SFTP protocols.
- Experience in automotive domains preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong background in performance tuning.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Master's in Computer Applications.
- 68 years of relevant experience in ETL development and data integration.
Work arrangements
- Onsite presence required 34 days per week.
