Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong expertise in Procurement and Master Data Management (MDM). This role focuses on building scalable data pipelines, managing enterprise data platforms, and ensuring high-quality, governed master data across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large datasets
- Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses
- Implement MDM frameworks for supplier, vendor, and material data
- Ensure data quality, governance, and standardization
- Integrate data from ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, Coupa)
- Enable procurement analytics (spend, vendor performance, risk)
- Monitor data quality KPIs and resolve inconsistencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for insights
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–12 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Airflow, dbt)
- Experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
- Strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Kafka, and open-source stack
- Experience in MDM, data governance, and data quality frameworks
- Exposure to procurement/ERP systems (SAP MM, Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
- Understanding of data modeling, lineage, and metadata
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
