Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Scrum Master to lead and support Agile teams in delivering high-value products. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills, a solid understanding of Agile frameworks, and the ability to coach teams towards continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Facilitation & Leadership:
- Create an environment that fosters high performance and value delivery.
- Ensure Scrum practices and guidelines are understood and followed by the team.
- Facilitate all Scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Team Support & Coaching:
- Provide support using a servant leadership style, leading by example.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, practices, and mindset adoption.
- Assist the Product Owner in backlog grooming and sprint planning activities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with multiple Scrum teams, internal and external stakeholders.
- Support decision-making processes and align project goals with business objectives.
- Impediment Management:
- Identify, track, and remove impediments to ensure smooth project progress.
- Guide the team to proactively resolve issues and mitigate risks.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing feedback from retrospectives.
- Drive Agile metrics and practices to enhance team performance and productivity.
- Communication & Transparency:
- Facilitate internal and external communication, improving transparency.
- Utilize Agile metrics to communicate team performance and project progress.
Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or MBA.
- SAFe, CSM, PSM, or equivalent Agile certification is mandatory.
- PMP® certification or other project management certifications are a plus.
Professional Experience:
- 4-9 years of IT experience, with 3-6 years in Agile project management.
- 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Experience managing projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile environments.
- Exposure to Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean Agile.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, and Lean.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proficient in Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, or Version One.
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and motivate teams to embrace Agile practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with Agile Project Management tools and Agile reporting metrics.
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to manage geographically dispersed teams effectively.
