Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimation Engineer (Supervisor) with 7-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering to lead our estimation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the estimation process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the estimation process for mechanical engineering projects.
- Analyze project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Develop and maintain estimation tools, templates, and databases to improve efficiency.
- Review and validate estimates prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor project costs and provide ongoing analysis to ensure adherence to budget.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations of estimates for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in estimation and cost analysis within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in estimation software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, specialized estimation software).
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accurate cost assessments.
