Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer (Supervisor) to lead our estimation team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation for engineering projects and will be responsible for developing and overseeing accurate project estimates, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and mentoring junior estimators.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the estimation process for various engineering projects.
- Develop accurate and detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Analyze and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations for project budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all estimation activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost overruns or delays in projects.
- Review and validate estimates prepared by junior estimators and provide guidance as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in estimation engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Estimation software).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to cost estimation.
