Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimation Engineer (Supervisor) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation for engineering projects, with a proven track record in preparing accurate and detailed estimates. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various engineering projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and proposals to determine scope of work and required materials.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Review subcontractor bids and prepare comparative analysis of costs.
- Develop and maintain a database of costs and pricing for materials and labor.
- Assist in the preparation of bid documents and presentations.
- Monitor project progress and update estimates as required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in estimation engineering or related roles.
- Proficient in cost estimation software and tools, such as Primavera, SAP, or similar.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to assess project costs accurately.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
