About the Product:
SiteRecon combines the power of Amazon and Google Docs for maps, allowing users to easily create customized maps through our AI-driven data delivery system. This platform serves as a foundation for creating survey notes, operational plans, cost estimates, and more.
Market Overview:
Our primary focus is the landscaping industry in the United States, Canada, and Australia, which collectively represents a staggering $200 billion market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Civil work takeoff (Quantity Surveyor) and engineering services, Example: Quantity Takeoff for Concrete, Brickwork. Woodwork, Doors & Windows, Finishes-Flooring, Drywall, Painting, Fire Stopping and Fire Proofing, other items / specialty items as per project scope, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical work_ Looking for a Project quantity surveyor / takeoff. All our projects are USA based.
- Assist in the development of detailed cost estimates of building and landscapes for various projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Experience in preparation of BOQ/Tender documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to clarify project requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and maintain records of estimates, bids, and awarded projects.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in all CSI Divisions.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and reporting) and Adobe Acrobat Pdf Reader.
Technical Skills:- Understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD 2D and 3D) or other takeoff softwares like BlueBeam, PlanSwift and on-screen Takeoff for interpreting engineering drawings.
- Ability to analyse Take Off from the on screen and trends to inform estimating processes.
- Experience with industry-specific software tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Key Competencies:Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical data to prepare accurate estimates.- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in quantity take-offs, cost calculations, and documentation.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction and landscaping materials, methods, techniques, and market pricing.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Solid numerical and cost-analysis skills for preparing detailed estimates and budgets.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with estimation software, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple bids/projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Preferred Skills:- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong presentation skills for explaining estimates and cost breakdowns to clients and management.
- Strong knowledge of CSI all Division design principles, horticulture, and sustainable construction practices.
