Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimation Engineer based in Delhi, OH. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQs), conducting research, and working closely with design and project teams. Duties include analyzing project technical requirements, negotiating with vendors, preparing budgets, and ensuring accurate costing for project execution. Collaboration and clear communication to support project planning and completion are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing BOQs and detailed project estimates
- Strong knowledge and experience in Civil/Electrical /Mechanical Engineering and project planning
- Experience in conducting thorough research and feasibility analysis
- Strong negotiation skills to liaise with vendors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with engineering software and proficient use of MS Office tools
- Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience in construction project estimation is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in on-site environments and meet deadlines
