JOB DESCRIPTION OF ESTIMATOR
Purpose of This Role: -To oversee analysis of past performance on projects and establish estimating standards for all future estimates based on such analysis, and assist in oversight of the historical cost database and bid management and estimating software.
Major Responsibilities: -
Supporting and assisting the senior estimator and helping themto make the right decisions in order to successfully win bids
Carefully reviewing and examining data and documents such as analysis reports, purchase orders, and subcontracts
Collecting and gathering the information that will be used to produce project estimates
Coming up with correct and accurate cost information that is required for construction projects
Forecasting how long it will take to complete a particular project and assisting the lead or senior estimator to come up with all the cost needed for construction projects in order to ensure that the contractor makes competitive and profitable
Preparing quantity and cost estimates for several civil work components
Identifying and evaluating all technical issues that are related to a particular project
Planning and organizing, and estimating work assignments, as well as other tasks as required by the management
Identifying bid opportunities, visiting project sites, and attending pre-bid meetings
Analysing and determining productivity.
Supporting and assisting the lead or senior estimator in calculating the cost of labor or materials that is required for a construction project
To calculate and estimate the expected cost of a construction project or a given project.
Responsible for preparing initial cost estimates for the needed services and products or materials, developing price schedules and bid proposals, and examining or analyzing the technical aspects of a project
Responsible for helping the lead or senior analyst to carry out list analysis assessments that are related to the cost of the proposed project.
Filing documents such as receipts and purchase orders, collecting and gathering the information that will be useful in the production of the project estimate
Proficient with use of various applications.

Education, Experience Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Civil/MechanicalEngineering
3-5 years experience in Facades/Construction industry
