- Basic qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sc. / Engineering (preferably in electrical/chemical/mechanical) + ESG certification/Diploma/Other specialisation
- Location – Kolkata
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experience required
Roles & responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation of ESG initiatives/projects at factories, warehouses and offices. (travel to factories as and when needed for project monitoring)
- Address ESG related data requirements from customers/downstream partners as and when required through necessary formats
- Preliminary feasibility analysis of new ESG related projects.
- Keep the company updated on all applicable ESG acts/rules/changes in the same and compliance there off.
- Coordinate and maintain MIS/dashboard for tracking of ESG parameters, in absence of a cloud-based ESG platform.
- Conduct detailed peer analysis, industry analysis to update on latest trends/best practices in the auto or auto-ancillary sector
Skills and experience
- 5-7 years of minimum experience in sustainability consulting/manufacturing company.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of evolving regulatory/ratings requirements such as GRI, BRSR, DJSI etc.
- Exposure in emission calculation (Scope 1, 2,3) as per standards
- Exposure to emission/water/waste reduction plan roadmap and project execution.
- Interpersonal and networking skills to handle multi-disciplinary departments and functions, across different job levels.
- Accuracy, consistency and time management in handling projects
- Experience in ESG assurance process (Limited / Reasonable)
- Good communication skills with decent command over English
