Key Responsibilities

Develop ESG Strategy

• Create and implement a robust ESG strategy aligned with organizational and sustainability goals

ESG Reporting

• Lead ESG and sustainability reporting in line with frameworks such as GRI, BRSR, TCFD, and SBTi
• Ensure adherence to ESG-related disclosures, including CDP, UNGC membership, and others

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with investors, lenders (e.g., IFC, ADB), ESDD consultants, and NGOs to address ESG-related matters
• Manage engagement on ESMS, policy alignment, and ESG queries

Environmental Management

• Implement environmental management systems to reduce the business's environmental footprint
• Monitor and improve metrics like GHG emissions, energy usage, and water conservation

Social Responsibility

• Drive initiatives related to labor standards, human rights, DEI, and community involvement

Governance

• Ensure ESG governance policies, risk frameworks, and internal compliance processes are effectively implemented and regularly reviewed

Accountabilities

• Own and drive ESG performance metrics and periodic reporting
• Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable ESG regulations, policies, and global standards
• Fulfill stakeholder requirements through transparent ESG communication and engagement

Deliverables / KPIs

• Timely publication of annual ESG / sustainability reports aligned with GRI, BRSR, TCFD, etc.
• Demonstrated improvement in ESG ratings (e.g., CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics)
• Reduction in GHG emissions and other key environmental indicators
• Strengthened ESG governance and audit readiness
• High stakeholder satisfaction through proactive engagement and disclosure
• Integration of ESG considerations in business operations and decision-making
