Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed analyses such as:
  • Carbon emissions tracking
  • Carbon footprint assessments
  • Environmental impact analysis
  • Life cycle assessments (LCAs)
  • Climate modeling and scenario planning
  • Emissions reduction strategy
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for emissions reduction and target setting aligned with SBTi
  • Support investment managers and portfolio companies in sustainability performance improvement
  • Enhance existing ESG products and contribute to new product development
  • Stay updated on ESG standards and ensure services align with current market expectations

Skills and Qualifications Required

  • Master's degree in environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field
  • Certifications in climate risk or ISO standards (preferred)
  • Proven experience in climate change, sustainability, and environmental advisory
  • Hands-on experience in GHG assessments, carbon footprint analysis, and decarbonization
  • Familiarity with SBTi, LCA, ISO 14044/14064, and climate risk modeling
  • Strong understanding of sustainability challenges across industries
  • Expertise in ESG frameworks: SASB, GRI, TCFD, UN PRI, CSRD/NFRD, SFDR
  • Skilled in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in video conferencing, written communication, and presentations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Programming knowledge is a plus
  • For Senior Associate and above:
  • People management, product ownership, and process improvement experience required
  • Consulting or advisory experience is mandatory
