Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
Salesforce FSL Lead to drive the solution design, development, and evolution of Field Service Lightning capabilities on our ESaaS Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in
FSL architecture, mobile workflows, optimization, complex scheduling, and integrations, and can guide both functional and technical teams toward scalable, compliant, multiorg enterprise solutions.
This role partners closely with architects, developers, product owners, and operations teams to ensure FSL is
robust, efficient, extensible, and aligned with ESaaS platform standards.
Responsibilities
- FSL Architecture & Solution Design
Lead endtoend design of FSL service processes, scheduling, workflows, and mobile experiences.
Architect scalable solutions including Service Territories, Work Types, Work Orders, Service Appointments, Skills, Inventory, Asset Management, and mobile offline features.
Define FSL data models, dispatching logic, optimization rules, and performance considerations.
Align all designs with ESaaS multiorg strategy, platform patterns, and governance frameworks.
- Platform Development & Technical Leadership
Oversee development of Apex, LWC, triggers, integration services, platform events, and orchestration flows related to FSL.
Ensure platform components follow best practices, reusability standards, sourcedriven DevOps, and ESaaS architectural guidelines.
Guide technical teams during story grooming, solution shaping, and effort estimation.
- Field Operations & Mobile Experience
Design and optimize FSL Mobile configurations including layouts, permissions, offline sync settings, and technician workflows.
Support business processes such as job dispatching, resource availability, time sheets, parts/consumables, and onsite data capture.
Collaborate with field teams to identify process improvements and deliver better mobile performance and usability.
- Integrations & Data Orchestration
Lead integration design with ERP, Inventory, IoT, GIS, Telemetry, Workforce Management, or other fieldoperations systems.
Work with integration teams on REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft/Boomi/ETL, and eventdriven patterns.
Oversee data migration, data quality, and sync logic for FSLrelated objects.
- Governance, Compliance & ESaaS Standards
Enforce naming conventions, development patterns, configuration templates, and documentation standards.
Align deployments with ESaaS platform governance for permissions, roles, data sharing, security, and compliance.
Participate in architecture review boards and change control processes.
- Leadership, Mentoring & Stakeholder Engagement
Mentor developers, admins, and junior consultants on FSL capabilities and best practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners and SMEs to refine requirements and solution options.
Act as the primary point of contact for FSL roadmap, releases, and platform enhancements.
Educate stakeholders on new features, optimizations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
