Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated SAP SD Consultant to contribute to our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. With a deep understanding of business processes and project implementation methodologies, you will interact with customers, understand their requirements, and propose effective solutions. Your expertise in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA, along with cross-functional application knowledge, will be key to your success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and own all aspects of technical development and delivery.
- Understand customer requirements and write Functional Specification documents.
- Play a client-facing lead role as an individual contributor.
- Estimate efforts, identify risks, and provide technical support as needed.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Interact with customers, understand their needs, and propose solutions.
- Contribute to competency building and coordinate with the technical team on custom objects.
- Work on support engagement and manage priority-based tickets, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Identify Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to process improvement.
- Act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- 11-15 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant with expertise in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA systems.
- In-depth knowledge of SD functional module and cross-functional applications, including FI, LE, MM, PP, QM, CO-PA, CS, and PS.
- Experience with Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs), taking sign-offs, configuration, and various testing phases.
- Hands-on experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Quality Assurance.
- Knowledge of SAP ASAP/Activate methodology and its implementation, customization, configuration, upgrade, and support.
- Expertise in configuring Pricing Procedures and special business processes like Third-party, Intercompany, and Consignment sales.
- Excellent understanding of SD concepts such as customer/product hierarchy, variant configuration, pricing, partner determination, and more.
- Experience in identifying GAPs, working on business requirements, and blue printing processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a goal-oriented, target-driven environment.
- SAP Certification and domain experience are preferred but not mandatory.
