About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ERPNext Developer with strong expertise in the Frappe Framework to design, customize, and maintain ERPNext solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across ERP workflows, backend development, and system integrations, and will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to deliver scalable ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext modules based on business requirements
- Create and modify DocTypes, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, and Print Formats
- Develop and maintain backend logic, custom scripts, and APIs using Python, JavaScript, and Frappe
- Integrate ERPNext with third-party applications and external services
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and support
- Perform testing, debugging, performance optimization, and system enhancements
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and user training as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth ERPNext implementation and ongoing maintenance
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with ERPNext and the Frappe Framework
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Jinja templates
- Experience in custom app development within ERPNext
- Solid understanding of MySQL/MariaDB and database schema design
- Experience with REST APIs, server management, and Git version control
- Functional knowledge of ERP modules such as Accounts, HR, Sales, Inventory, Projects, and CRM
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
Nice to Have (Optional)
- Experience with Frappe Cloud or self-hosted ERPNext deployments
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Docker and Linux-based environments
- Contributions to the Frappe / ERPNext open-source community
