Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven ERP Sales Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing ERP sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience selling ERP or enterprise SaaS solutions, building long-term client relationships, and managing the complete sales cycle for SMB and mid-market customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for ERP solutions across SMB and mid-market segments
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, product demos, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and revenue goals
Client Engagement:
- Understand client business processes and pain points to position ERP solutions effectively
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts tailored to customer needs
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers during ERP evaluation and decision-making
- Market & Pipeline Management:
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools
- Track leads, opportunities, forecasts, and sales metrics accurately
- Research market trends, competitor offerings, and customer requirements
- Collaboration & Delivery Support:
- Work closely with pre-sales, functional consultants, and implementation teams to ensure smooth handover post-sale
- Support solution design and pricing strategies in coordination with internal teams
- Ensure customer expectations are clearly defined before project kickoff
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in ERP / SaaS / Enterprise Software Sales
Proven track record of closing mid-to-large ERP deals
Experience selling ERP modules such as Finance, SCM, HCM, CRM, Manufacturing, etc. is a strong plus
Skills
Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to understand business workflows and translate them into ERP solutions
Experience working with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling ERP to multi-location or multi-company organizations
- Knowledge of ERP implementation lifecycles
- Exposure to international markets or multi-region sales
- Background in IT services, SaaS platforms, or cloud-based ERP
