Job Description ERP Assistant (Visual Gems Software)

Position:ERP Assistant Visual Gems

Department:ERP

Location:FashionC Overseas Exports

Reporting To:ERP Manager

Salary- 20,000- 25000

preferably in garment manufacturing/export house.

Job Purpose:

To provide day-to-day support, data management, and coordination for Visual Gems ERP software, ensuring smooth functioning of all modules related to merchandising, production, inventory, and accounts in the garment manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

1.ERP Data Management

Enter and update order details, BOMs, costing, style masters, and other data in Visual Gems.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of records in all ERP modules.

Maintain updated buyer/style-wise records for tracking orders and shipments.

2.User Support & Coordination

Provide assistance to merchandisers, production, accounts, and stores teams in using ERP.

Troubleshoot basic issues in Visual Gems and escalate to ERP Manager/IT team if required.

Coordinate with software vendor/consultant for technical support when necessary.

3.Process Monitoring

Monitor workflow in ERP to ensure timely data input by concerned departments.

Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports (order status, production, inventory, shipment, etc.) from ERP.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Good knowledge of Visual Gems ERP software(preferably in garment manufacturing/export house).

Strong MS Excelskills for reporting and data validation.

Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Good communication skills for cross-department coordination.

Qualification & Experience:

Graduate in Commerce / IT / Textile / Apparel Management or equivalent.

25 years of experiencein ERP (Visual Gems preferred) in garment manufacturing/export industry.
