Equity Research Analyst

About the Role

We are looking for a Sell Side Research Analyst to join our Equity Research team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in financial modeling, valuation, and sectoral analysis, with the ability to deliver actionable investment insights and research reports for clients.

You will be responsible for sector & company coverage, developing financial models, producing thematic reports, and supporting client interactions with impactful investment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth sector and company research, including top-down and bottom-up analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models using DCF, relative valuation, and SOTP methods.
• Drive the research calendar - thematic reports, earnings coverage & IPO Notes.
• Engage with clients, media, and conferences to share research insights.
• Collaborate with senior management and the sales/trading desk to align research priorities.
• Ensure adherence to compliance and research standards.

Qualifications : MBA (Finance) / CA / CFA (preferred). Engineering + MBA (Finance) combinations are welcome.

Experience: 58 years in Sell Side Equity Research, Brokerage Research, or Investment Banking, with team leadership experience.

Budget: Market standard hike upto 30LPA

Technical Skills:

- Advanced Excel, Bloomberg, AceEquity, FactSet.

- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and data-driven research.

- Strong report writing, presentation, and communication skills.

- AI Analytics
