As a Buy-Side Equity Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of companies and industries to identify investment opportunities. You will work closely with portfolio managers and hedge funds to support decision-making processes and contribute to the overall investment strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed equity research, financial modeling and valuation analysis.
- Conduct thorough industry and company-specific research.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and economic indicators.
- Prepare and present investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
- Maintain and update investment research databases & models.
- Engage with company management teams and industry experts.
Qualifications/Skills
- CA/CFA/MBA (preferably from a top-notch institute)
- 4+ years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related field
- Strong research, financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, CapIQ, FactSet).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
