We are looking for a motivated Semiconductor Equipment Engineer with hands-on experience in diffusion furnace equipment, capable of supporting routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting in a production fab environment.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in one or more of the following toolsets: TEL Alpha 8 SE Waves, ASM A400 Duo.
We are looking for someone who is self-driven, safety-conscious, and a good team player, with the ability to work in a fast-paced fab environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Preferred experience on 200 TEL Alpha 8se waves and ASM A400 Duo.
- Perform tool fault recovery to minimize equipment downtime.
- Execute preventive maintenance as per procedures, ensuring on-time completion and first-time pass.
- Support troubleshooting of routine equipment issues and escalate complex problems when required.
- Monitor tool performance and respond to alarms and abnormal conditions.
- Support actions to identify and resolve repeat tool issues, improving MTBF.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, faults, and actions taken.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain discipline in execution.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fab equipment maintenance is required.
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering with relevant experience.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Positive attitude and a good team player.
- Good computer knowledge, with proficiency in MS Office tools.
