Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers
- Work extensively on PostgreSQL database development and optimization
- Perform query tuning, performance optimization, and indexing
- Collaborate with application, QA, and business teams for end-to-end solution delivery
- Handle data migration, debugging, and production support
- Ensure database security, integrity, and high availability
- Prepare technical documentation and follow coding best practices
Required Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in PL/SQL development
- Strong working experience with PostgreSQL
- Excellent knowledge of SQL tuning and performance optimization
- Strong hands-on experience with PL/SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions, and packages
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environment
- Experience working in production support and Agile environments
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Good To Have
- Exposure to banking, ERP, or enterprise applications
- Knowledge of data migration and ETL processes
- Experience working in client-facing roles
