Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist based in Hyderabad. The specialist will be responsible for implementing, managing, and monitoring health and safety protocols across the organization. This includes developing and delivering safety training, conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with environmental safety regulations, and promoting a safe workplace culture. They will also collaborate with various stakeholders to identify hazards, prevent workplace accidents, and maintain a safe environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
• Proficiency in Workplace Safety practices and compliance with related regulations.
• Capability to develop and deliver effective Safety Training programs.
• Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to promote safety awareness and foster a positive safety culture.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in healthcare or diagnostic services is an advantage.
