Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist. The EHS Specialist will oversee workplace safety, develop and implement health and safety policies, conduct hazard assessments, and facilitate safety training programs. The role involves ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, identifying risks, and collaborating with different departments on EHS protocols and initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles, including their application in organizational settings
• Proficiency in Health & Safety and Occupational Health practices
• Experience with implementing and maintaining Workplace Safety and Safety Training programs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to conduct training programs and enforce policies
• Proven knowledge in regulatory compliance and risk assessment practices
• Relevant work experience in an EHS role is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field; certification in EHS or relevant safety practices is a plus
