Environmental Health Safety Specialist

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote role for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental health and safety (EHS) programs. Day-to-day tasks include identifying workplace hazards, conducting safety training sessions, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS)
• Proficiency in Health & Safety protocols and Workplace Safety practices
• Experience in conducting Safety Training and implementing preventive measures
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and risk assessment
• Ability to analyze data to improve environmental and safety practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is a plus
• Experience in a remote work environment is an advantage
