Job Description
- Design wastewater treatment systems ensuring safe, efficient and environmentally compliant operations
- Review and analyze drainage systems to protect surrounding ecosystems
- Evaluate industrial domestic wastewater treatment methods and recommend optimal solutions
- Analyze sludge treatment and disposal methods; design suitable systems and processes
- Prepare layouts, drawings and specifications for pumping lifting systems
- Review and provide technical feedback on treatment plant proposals, plans and system designs
- Perform cost-benefit analysis for assigned projects
- Coordinate with contractors, regulatory bodies and government agencies for project execution
- Ensure all designs comply with local and state environmental and equipment guidelines
- Conduct environmental studies related to water and wastewater collection, treatment and distribution
