Job Title- ESG- Specialist

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Contract Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement contract management frameworks, SOPs, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.

Pre-Award Activities

  • Review tender documents, prepare pre-bid queries, and assess commercial risks.
  • Lead bid evaluations, vendor negotiations, and drafting of LOIs and contracts.

Post-Award Administration

  • Manage change orders, variation claims, and contractual compliance.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely contract closeouts.

Arbitration & Claims Management

  • Oversee preparation of claims, rejoinders, and arbitration documentation.
  • Liaise with legal counsel and senior management for dispute resolution.

Quantity Surveying (QS) Collaboration

  • Validate BOQs, cost estimates, and variations in coordination with QS teams.
  • Ensure alignment of contractual terms with project cost structures.

Risk & Compliance

  • Maintain contract records, risk registers, and compliance checklists.
  • Escalate critical risks and ensure governance adherence.

Job Requirement

  • Must be Graduate in Civil Engineer/Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management
  • 4-10 Years.
  • EPC/design-build contractors and large infrastructure developers.
  • Good knowledge of Emission Factors (DEFRA, IPCC, EXIOBASE) ESG Strategy / ESG Roadmap Sustainability Reporting Sustainable Infrastructure ESG Data Management ISSB TCFD Supplier ESG Assessment
